According to July reports 2010 became a year of record sales of cars in Kazakhstan
In July 2010 official dealers sold 1 826 of passenger and light commercial vehicles, that is 2,8% higher than for the same period of time in 2009. Besides, in comparison with June 2010, it increased by 6%. July has become the most effective month for official market since beginning of current year. The information was provided into market review by consulting company Qncepto.
Sales of passenger cars in July 2010 grew by 3,02% against July 2009. Official dealers sold 1434 passenger cars that is 9,55% higher than in June of this year
Three leading brands in July are traditional. Whereas, Lada, brand ¹1, enlarged sales breakaway from its nearest competitors in comparison with June. Sales of these cars both assembled in Russia and Kazakhstan, reached 360 units.
”Toyota has been keeping the second position since May 2010 (215 vehicles sold according to July results). UZ-Daewoo product is in fair way to regain silver position by 194 sales in Kazakhstan.”- states the review.
KIA, which was launched for production in Kazakhstan in May, aggressively claimed to be a leading brand. It jumped on 4th position of July rating from 25th position in beginning of II quarter (month sales constitute 92 cars).
Moscow plant Avtoframos opened supplies of Renault vehicles in Kazakhstan and achieved sales growth comparable to KIA dynamics. Its product was bought by 56 Kazakhstan consumers.
Mitsubishi, recently being one of first three favorites on domestic market, is climbing down as far as stocks are getting depleted. Sales dropped up to 55 units sold in July that is more then 2,5 times lower than for the same period of last year
“Aside from TOP-10, the most evident post crisis growth can be seen among lux brands Audi and Mercedes-Benz. Their July sales equal to 31 and 29 vehicles correspondingly, which means 3,87 and 3,22 times increase over the same period in 2009. “-the review says.
